A SaaS platform that calculates Polish income tax on cryptocurrency transactions. Imports trade history from major exchanges (Binance, Kraken, Bitfinex, Crypto.com, plus DeFi via CSV), normalizes everything to PLN using NBP daily rates, and produces a PIT-38 attachment ready to file.
What’s interesting under the hood
- All FX conversions use NBP “table A” rates as required by Polish law — every fill rate is locked at the moment of the transaction’s tax-relevant date.
- Costs and proceeds are tracked per asset using Polish FIFO interpretation of Ustawa o PIT, articles 30b/30b-a.
- Backend is Kotlin/Ktor, frontend is React + Vite, monorepo orchestrated with Nx.
